A single amber dot
in the dark of the forest.

Ojasaarõ is a private glass-walled luxury spa villa in the Võrumaa forest. It is a brand with a single heartbeat — the amber dot over the õ in Ojasaarõ.

01 — Introduction

What the name means

Oja (Estonian: a brook / stream threading the forest) + saar (an island) → "brook island". The final õ is from the Võro dialect of south-east Estonia — and the dot over that õ carries the amber fire.

What it is: a private glass house — "Klaaskoda" — in the forest at Lüütsepa, Rõuge parish, Võrumaa. Operator: BMMajand OÜ. Domain: ojasaarevilla.ee.

05 — Motifs

The õ-dot heartbeat

The amber dot is the brand pulse — a 0.5em circle on the baseline. It is the hero scroll-cue, the period of the Võro line, and the seed of the standalone logo. One dot, used with restraint. Never multiply it into a pattern.

SECTION · 00

The folio (rule + kicker)

Every section opens with a folio: a 1px hairline rule and an uppercase mono kicker. It is the field guide’s chapter mark — giving the page the rhythm of an editorial spread.

Coordinates & field-guide voice

The villa GPS — 57.61549° N · 26.73279° E · 318 m — is a recurring signature. Place names (Lüütsepa · Võrumaa · Eesti) and the Võro line ("Tulõ˽ ja võta˙ aig maaha.") carry the same instrument-panel tone.

06 — Voice

Restraint is the luxury

  1. Let the place speak. We describe what is actually there — birch light, sauna steam, the brook, the silence. No hype, no exclamation marks.
  2. Sensory before descriptive. Lead with what the body feels: warmth, cold water, evening light, woodsmoke.
  3. Rooted in Võrumaa. Haanja, Rõuge, smoke-sauna heritage, the õ of Võro, the coordinates 57.61549°N 26.73279°E.
  4. Write to two, not to a market. Write as if to two people present — a couple choosing stillness; warmly and directly, without superlatives.
  5. Restraint is the luxury. Short sentences. White space. One amber heartbeat per moment.
  6. Honest and grounded. We promise only what the house delivers — privacy, time, quiet. Trust is built by being exact.
Hero opener
Time for two, in the heart of nature.

Aeg kahekesi, looduse keskel.

Privacy promise
Glass walls — and no one to look in.

Klaasseinad — ja kedagi, kes sisse vaataks.

Sauna & cold water
From the steam straight into the evening light, the lake still cold on your skin.

Leilist otse õhtuvalgusse, järvevesi veel külm nahal.

Place / belonging
The forest begins at the door. The quiet of Haanja begins inside you.

Mets algab ukse tagant. Haanja vaikus algab kohe sinu sees.

Gift / slowing down
Give time: a couple of days without a clock, just the two of you, morning mist over the bog.

Kingi aega: paar päeva ilma kella, kahekesi, raba kohal hommikuudus.

Tulõ˽ ja võta˙ aig maaha.

07 — Photography

Photograph the felt-sense

Every frame carries one core feeling — stillness, intimacy, the meeting of glass and forest, warm light against a dark world. Natural light, the real Võrumaa seasons; the amber dot is the single warm heartbeat in an otherwise cool frame.

Do

  • Golden hour, blue hour and soft overcast light — when the glass walls mirror the forest and glow amber from within.
  • One warm amber source (candle, fireplace, sauna lantern, lit window) anchoring an otherwise cool, dark frame.
  • Season and weather: mist over the bog, first snow on glass, birch in autumn, frost, rain on the terrace.
  • Real, lived-in moments — two coffee cups, rising steam, a towel, wet footprints — suggesting the couple without staging.
  • Stillness and generous negative space; let forest, sky and water breathe.

Don’t

  • No bright, over-HDR "listing" photos or wide-angle distortion.
  • No posed, smiling-at-camera models or stock-couple clichés (champagne toasts, rose petals).
  • No clutter, props or signage that break the calm — no logos on towels, no price stickers.
  • No harsh flash or cold blue "spa-brochure" light; never let the warm world go clinical.
  • No crowds, cars, or anything that breaks the sense of solitude.
08 — Partner & press

Co-branding & usage rules

  1. Always write the name "Ojasaarõ" with the final "õ" and its amber dot — never "Ojasaaro", "Ojasaaru" or "Ojasaare".
  2. Use only the supplied logo files: the heartbeat ring, the wordmark, or the coordinate seal. Do not redraw, stretch, rotate or add effects.
  3. Respect clearspace and minimum sizes; keep the amber (#c8741e) true — do not tint the mark to a partner palette.
  4. Co-branding is a lock-up, not a blend: partner mark beside Ojasaarõ with a clear divider and equal breathing room.
  5. Match the voice: restrained, sensory, Võrumaa-rooted. No superlatives, no invented amenities.
  6. Credit the operating entity (BMMajand OÜ) and link the canonical domain ojasaarevilla.ee. Bookings are direct and commission-free.
  7. Use press images unaltered (no crops through the mark, no filters) and credit "Ojasaarõ".
  8. Any new lock-up, badge or campaign placing a partner mark next to Ojasaarõ must be approved in writing before publication.
